WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO?

I work out of my home in Anchorage, Kentucky. I don’t have a retail storefront. I typically meet clients on location at nearby parks, on downtown streets, etc. If you don’t have a specific location in mind, I have several picturesque favorite spots around town that I can talk with you about. If the studio look is what you’re after, I can do that, too! If you’re located outside of the greater Louisville area, travel fees may apply.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?

You choose! My basic packages include 10, 20, or 30 images. A la carte pricing is available.

CAN I JUST GET ALL THE PHOTOS?

Not typically. My goal is to deliver you finished, quality, photographic works of art. To accomplish this I often take hundreds of shots and then put only the best through my extensive editing process. You probably don’t want 14 shots of the same basic pose anyway, right?

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

My packages start at $695. All packages include session, digital images, and print credit. There are no extra, hidden charges for outfit changes or additional subjects. For more information see the investment page.

HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY ORDER?

I try to deliver your digital images within two weeks of your session. While there are fast-food style photo places out there, my process is just a bit slower. First, I’m a mom to four amazing kids and they get a lot of my attention. Second, I’m meticulous in the editing process. I scrutinize each image to remove stray hairs, fix small blemishes, and adjust exposure issues. This just takes time but the end results are worth it.

CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPHY MY WEDDING?

Heck, no.

WHY DON’T YOU DO WEDDINGS?

Because stress! There are some fantastic photographers out there who love to shoot weddings. I’m not one of them. My real specialty is portraiture work, like photos of babies, families and high school seniors. I choose to stick with what I’m best at. And have you noticed how stressful weddings are? No thanks. However if you’re in the search of a good wedding photographer, I know a few. Hit me up and I can share their info with you.

WHAT DO YOU SHOOT WITH?

On hot summer days, I use a super soaker and aim it at my kids’ faces. But when I’m out on the job, I use my Canon 5D Mark III combined with a few of my favorite L-series lenses.

CAN I MAKE MY OWN PRINTS?

Of course! While some (old school) studios require you to pay their high prices for prints, I believe that your images are yours. You own them and can do with them as you please. You can get 19¢ prints at Walgreens if you want to. (The thought makes me cringe a bit, though.) I partner with a professional print lab whose print quality will really impress you. After I upload your images, you can make your own order and it will be shipped directly to you. Each package includes print credit that you can apply toward your print order.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT PAPER OPTIONS FOR PRINTS?

All print orders are fulfilled by my lab partner, White House Custom Color. Depending on print size the following paper options may be available. Ask me about textured prints! (Linen, pebble, etc.)

• Lustre – The most popular paper option. A semi-gloss paper with vibrant colors and excellent skin tones.
• Glossy – Most vibrant colors with a highly reflective, glossy finish.
• Deep Matte – True non-reflective matte paper great for skin tones, soft images, and black & whites.
• Metallic – A metallic base adds a shimmer and vibrant colors. Highly reflective, glossy finish.

BESIDES PRINTS, WHAT YOU GOT?

For starters, please use better grammar. 🙂 I offer a wide range of additional products. Some of my clients’ favorites are canvas gallery wraps, custom photo cards, metal prints, and photo handbags. Please contact me to order these products.
